Herring, 24, originally was signed by the Green Bay Packers as a rookie free agent out of Delaware on May 2, 2025, and was released by the Packers on Aug. 26, 2025. The 6-foot-1, 201-pounder, played in 40 games with 29 starts during his college career at Dartmouth (2019, 2021-22) and at Delaware (2023-24). He recorded 121 total tackles, 15 passes defensed and 5 interceptions.
