PATRIOTS CHEERLEADERS DANCE SQUAD
The Patriots Cheerleaders dance team performs at Patriots home games and are requested to attend a minimum of two rehearsals per week. In addition to performing on the sidelines for Patriots home games at Gillette Stadium, the dance team participates in public appearances throughout the community and members are also featured in the swimsuit calendar and poster. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must be a high school graduate or have a GED by the date of preliminary auditions to participate. There is no age limit or height requirement. In order to audition, you must first complete an online application. NOTE: once you submit your online application, you should automatically plan on attending auditions. This step is NOT part of the “selection process”, but instead, a requirement for all interested parties.
On the day of auditions you should bring a photo, resume and a $20.00 audition fee. Resumes should outline your educational and occupational background and any community service, public speaking, dance/cheer/tumble/modeling experience you may have. It can be a headshot, full length or candid and can reflect any type of outfit you choose; fitness apparel, casual, business outfit, formal, swimwear - it’s your choice. NOTE: Dance team candidates should NOT mail in resumes/photos, but should bring them day of event. If a dance team applicant does not advance during the preliminary round, she can still be considered for the promotional model team and will be notified by phone or email if she has been requested to attend finals to continue the process. At the conclusion of preliminaries, each dance team candidate that advances to finals will sign up for a half-hour personal interview at Gillette Stadium, with a variety of dates and times offered.
PATRIOTS CHEERLEADERS PROMOTIONAL MODEL SQUAD
As part of our responsibility to the community and to our team partners, public and game day appearances are becoming an increasingly important squad role. Due to the large volume of appearance requests we receive, we have assembled an elite squad for promotional appearances and event participation. A Patriots Cheerleader promotional model is a non-performing squad member specifically chosen for her specialization in, and availability for, public and game-day appearances. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must be a high school graduate or have a GED by the date of final auditions to participate. There is no age limit or height requirement. Patriots Cheerleader promotional models may be asked to attend some rehearsals with advanced notice. Members of the promotional model team are also featured in the annual swimsuit calendar and poster. Promotional models are not required to participate in the dance round of the auditions. You must complete an online application. Promotional model candidates should mail in three photos, a resume and a $20.00 processing fee, with the packet being RECEIVED (not postmarked) at Gillette Stadium by February 17, 2017. INTERVIEWS: Promotional model candidates will be notified via email as to whether or not they have been selected for an interview, after packets are reviewed. Within a week after interviews, candidates will be notified whether or not they have been selected to participate in final auditions. Promotional model candidates do not attend preliminary auditions unless they wish to also be considered for the dance team. See below.
INTEREST IN BOTH DANCE TEAM AND PROMOTIONAL MODEL TEAM
If you're interested in the dance team but would also be interested in participating on the promotional model team if there wasn't an opportunity for you on the performance squad, you should attend preliminary auditions and you should not send in a promotional model packet. Candidates not advancing as a dance finalist will have their audition packets re-reviewed during/shortly after preliminaries for possible consideration as a promotional model finalist. Call backs will be made to those selected to advance. Those interested in the promotional model team ONLY should mail in packets in advance.

Time: 9:30 a.m. registration. Those advancing past all rounds should expect to be in attendance until 7:00 p.m.
Location: Pieri Gymnasium at Dean College, Franklin, MA (Directions)
Preliminary Auditions will be held on one day only. If you are unable to attend that day, there will not be a make-up date scheduled. We do not accept videotapes in lieu of auditioning. Your hair and make-up should be performance-ready. Think "glamour" rather than "sporty". You should also bring plenty to drink and a healthy lunch. Upon arrival, you will line up to be checked off the registration list as you should have already completed an application form online. You will be asked to complete a waiver and submit a $20.00 audition processing fee. Numbers will be assigned in line order. Candidates should also bring a resume and photo, as outlined above.
Participants will be taught choreographed dance combinations and may be given an opportunity to perform a freestyle combination as well (music will be determined on the day of preliminaries). Several tabulations will be made throughout the day and approximately 40-50 dancers will be selected to participate in the final auditions. Each dancer advancing to finals will schedule a half hour personal interview with the cheerleader director at Gillette Stadium at a mutually convenient date and time prior to final auditions.
