2020 PATRIOTS CHEERLEADERS AUDITIONS
Audition to become a cheerleader for the 6X Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.
- Make public appearances throughout New England in support of our communities' charitable organizations and local businesses
- Perform for 65,000 fans during nationally televised games

PATRIOTS CHEERLEADERS DANCE TEAM - BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR THE PATRIOTS ORGANIZATION AND PERFORMING SQUAD MEMBER
The Patriots Cheerleaders dance team is required to attend a minimum of 2 rehearsals per week. They perform on the sidelines at Patriots home games, participate in public appearances and participate in photo shoots. Each candidate must be at least 18 years of age and be a high school graduate or have a GED by the date of preliminary auditions to participate. There is no age limit or height requirement.
To expedite the process, it is highly suggested that you complete an online application or you may apply day of auditions. When applied online, you'll receive an automated response confirming receipt. For full details, see preliminary audition requirements below.
PROMOTIONAL CHEERLEADERS - BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR THE PATRIOTS ORGANIZATION
As part of our responsibility to the community and our team partners, public and game day appearances are an important squad role and we have assembled an elite squad for promotional appearances and event participation. Promotional Cheerleaders are non-performing squad members specifically chosen for their specialization in, and availability for, public and game-day appearances, and like the dance team, they participate in photo shoots as well. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must be a high school graduate or have a GED by the date of final auditions to participate. There is no age limit or height requirement. Promotional Cheerleaders will be asked to attend some meetings with advanced notice. They are not required to participate in the dance round of auditions.
Application Requirements:
- 3 photos
- Color or black and white, Size 5 x 7 or larger
- 1 full length, one headshot
- 1 photo should not have photo retouching
- Photos can reflect any outfit (casual, business, formal, swimwear, fitness) - Resume

INTERVIEWS: Promotional Cheerleader candidates will be notified via email as to whether or not they have been selected for an online interview after all packets have been reviewed. Promotional Cheerleader candidates do not attend Preliminary Auditions. If a promotional candidate is not selected for an interview, and they would like to try out for the dance team, they may attend preliminary auditions as a dance candidate. If they do not advance at preliminary auditions, there will not be callbacks for the promotional cheerleader position.
PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS REQUIREMENTS
Date: Saturday, February 29, 2020
Time: 9:30 AM registration.

Preliminary Auditions will be held on one day only. There will not be a make-up date scheduled and we do not accept videotapes in lieu of auditioning. Preliminary auditions are not open for public viewing.
Callbacks: Those not advancing through preliminary auditions will not receive a callback for either the dance or promotional cheerleader position. Those who advance will be notified day of preliminary auditions if they advance as a dance candidate and no promotional cheerleaders will be considered on this day.

You do not need to cover tattoos or remove piercings for the audition process, however, should you be selected for the Patriots Cheerleading squad, only tattoos that can be concealed by the uniform or makeup are permissible and one pair of post earrings are allowed.
Agenda:
- Freestyle round - we will provide the music day of event
- 1 or 2 dance combinations will be taught
- 40-50 dancers will advance to semi-final auditions
- Online interviews will be arranged
OPTIONAL AUDITION WORKSHOP
Our Optional Audition Workshop is a program designed to better prepare candidates for the audition process. There are two programs available – one opportunity for Dance Team candidates and one for Promotional Cheerleaders.

- Nutritional guidance session hosted by Dr. Debra Foschi, Patriots Cheerleaders' nutritionist

Cost of Workshop for Dance Team candidates: $125.00 (one hundred twenty five dollars) per participant
PROMOTIONAL CHEERLEADER OPPORTUNITY (excludes dance session):
11:15 AM registration – 3:00 PM

Cost of Workshop for Promotional Cheerleader candidates: $50.00 (fifty dollars) per participant
BOTH OPTIONS:
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age to participate
What to Wear: Neat work-out attire with warm-ups and sneakers or dance shoes
What to Bring: Snacks, water bottle, notebook/pen and a hair-tie and yoga mat for fitness segment
Workshop is not open for public viewing.
