In Case You Missed It: On to San Diego

In case you missed it we recap all our coverage from this week as the Patriots prepare to take on the San Diego Chargers this Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.

Immediately following the tough loss to the Green Bay Packers, Jackie Brittain and Scott Zolak broke down key moments the Patriots couldn't capitalize on. In the locker room, we brought you exclusive footage of player reactions following the loss. We also showed you what happens when you try to lay a big hit on Rob Gronkowski, and fail in doing so.

On Tuesday, we heard from Bill Belichick who opened his interview boasting about how nice the weather is compared to New England. Yes, we all wish we were there! Matt Patricia and Josh McDaniels called in for their conference calls later in the day to answer some questions and offer some insight on the Chargers. For you fantasy football fanatics out there, Bill Enright and Anthony Grace of Fantasy Football Champs wrapped up the day on Patriots.com Radio offering their fantasy playoff tips.

While the weather seemed nice in San Diego, looks like the rainy weather followed the Patriots dampening the area on Wednesday. We had a lot of media action on Wednesday with Chargers tight end Antonio Gates and head coach Mike McCoy giving some insight on their side of the matchup. For the Patriots, Chris Jones and Michael Hoomanawanui updated the media from San Diego in their new practice location.

Looked like a beautiful day in paradise on Thursday as we heard from Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady after their practice sessions. Some breaking news surfaced as Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson was placed on injured reserve, ending only his second season in New England. We wrapped up Thursday with Jackie Brittain and Bob Socci reporting from practice noting that Chandler Jones is looking better and getting in more reps. Will he play this season? I guess we will find out.

Game Preview

The Patriots will face the Chargers on Sunday Night in San Diego, with weather conditions looking as ideal as possible. The Patriots come into this game leading the series 22-15-2 with their last meeting back in 2011 where New England prevailed 35-21. Let's hope we see the same performance out of Brady where he threw for 423 yards and 3 touchdowns, two of which went to Gronkowski. Game time is at 8:25pm ET on NBC. Be sure to check out our full game preview and our broadcast info on where you can watch the game.
