News Blitz 3/22: Adrian Clayborn ready for more

All of the day's Patriots news in one convenient place.

Wednesday was Adrian Clayborn's turn to chat with the local media for the first time, becoming the third free agent to do so in three days. Clayborn has dealt with his share of injuries over the years but ESPN.com says the defensive end has shelved any talk of retirement and is ready to go.

The Boston Globe says Clayborn believes he can be a versatile pass rusher. The Boston Herald thinks Clayborn is a smart depth move for the Patriots. NBC Sports Boston has Clayborn talking about his desire not to be pigeonholed strictly as a pass rusher.

Boston College conducted its Pro Day on Wednesday with defensive end Harold Landry the focus. The Globe details the highly-regarded prospect’s afternoon.

ESPN.com says the Patriots and Patrick Chung agreed on a two-year contract extension.

The owner's meetings are set to take place next week and several rule changes/alterations will be discussed. The most noteworthy will be a proposal from the competition committee that will implement some badly needed simplification of the catch rule.

The Patriot Ledger says former Patriots tight end **Martellus Bennett** is unsure about his future.

The Worcester Telegram tells us about a documentary called “Four Game in Fall” that details the Deflategate saga.
