Pats deal 19th to Ravens

The Patriots traded the 19th pick for a second round pick this year (41st) and a first rounder next year.

The Patriots traded down with their second first-round pick (19th overall), dealing the selection to the Baltimore Ravens for Baltimore's second round pick this year (41st overall) and the Ravens first round pick in 2004.

The Ravens then used the 19th pick on Cal quarterback Kyle Boller.

The Patriots used the pick it acquired for Drew Bledsoe to trade up one spot from 14 to 13 in the first round and selected Texas A&M defensive lineman Ty Warren.

In a sense, that trade becomes Bledsoe for Warren. The deal with Baltimore amounts to Boller for a second round pick this year and a first rounder next year.
