Players leave it all on ping pong table

Patriots players and other Boston athletes show their best forehands at Rob Ninkovich's Ping Pong Challenge.

Patriots players are a force on the field and, as they proved once again Monday night, on the ping pong table.

Players and other Boston athletes teamed up in support of Rob Ninkovich's Second Annual Ping Pong Challenge at Blazing Paddles Monday night. The event pits celebrity teams against corporate sponsors to raise money for Celebrities for Charity, an initiative started by former Bruins Ray Bourque and Cleon Daskalakis.

With Rob leading the charge, his teammates came out to support the cause. Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Patrick Chung and Ryan Allen all put down the football for a paddle. Current and former Boston athletes also joined the fun, including Bruins legend Ray Bourque, Dennis Seidenberg and Jimmy Hayes, as well as New York Ranger Kevin Hayes. Teal Bunbury and Charlie Davies of the New England Revolution represented the "locker room" side of the tournament against the "board room" in the finals.

Check out pictures from the event in the gallery below.

Patriots DE Rob Ninkovich was joined by his teammates as well as other Boston pro athletes, past and present, at his second-annual Ping Pong Challenge for charity at Blazing Paddles on May 23, 2016.
