Also a key member of the special teams units, tallying a career-high 8 special teams tackles on the season and 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
  • Began the season a reserve linebacker and filled in as starting role at times throughout the season in the second half of the season.
  • Recorded his first-career forced fumble and recovery at San Francisco (9/29) during the second-half kickoff to give New England a first down at the San Francisco 27-yard line, which helped set up the Patriots first touchdown of the game: a 5-yard pass from QB Jacoby Brissett to TE Austin Hooper.   • His father, Luther, was a 1st-round pick by Detroit in the 1995 draft, was a two-time Pro Bowl DL and spent nine seasons in the NFL playing for Detroit and Denver.
