Finished the year having completed 225-of-338 passes (66.6 percent) for 2,276 yards, 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Added 54 rushing attempts for 421 yards and a 7.8-yard rushing average, the sixth-highest in a season by a quarterback with at least 50 rushing attempts.
- Named to the 2024 Pro Bowl.
- Saw first NFL action at the New York Jets (9/19), entering the game with 4:24 remaining in the fourth quarter.
- Made his first NFL start vs. Houston (10/13), finishing 20-of-33 for 243 yards and 3 touchdowns. Completed his first touchdown on a 40-yard pass to WR Kayshon Boutte in the second quarter, the longest pass for the Patriots since a 48-yard pass play from QB Bailey Zappe to RB Kevin Harris at Buffalo on Dec. 31, 2023, and the longest touchdown pass for New England since QB Mac Jones completed a 58-yard touchdown pass to TE Pharaoh Brown at the New York Jets on Sept. 24, 2023. The 40-yard touchdown pass on his first-career touchdown pass is the longest for a rookie Patriots quarterback on his first career touchdown pass since QB Drew Bledsoe's first career touchdown pass resulted in a 54-yard touchdown to TE Ben Coates on Sept. 5, 1993 vs. Buffalo. Became the fourth Patriots rookie quarterback to throw at least 3 touchdown passes in a single game, joining Drew Bledsoe, Jim Plunkett and Mac Jones. Became the 14th rookie quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 3 touchdowns in his first-career start, joining M.C. Reynolds (3), Jacky Lee (3), Dan Marino (3), Kevin Sweeney (3), Ed Rubbert (3), Todd Marinovich (3), Tony Banks (3), John Stofa (4), Josh Freeman (3), Matt McGloin (3), Marcus Mariota (4), Trevor Lawrence (3) and Will Levis (4). Threw 3 touchdowns and led the team in rushing with 38 yards, becoming the first quarterback to lead his team in rushing and throw for at least 3 touchdown passes in his first-career start since at least 1950.
- Had 2 touchdowns against Jacksonville (10/20) in London to give him 5 touchdowns in his first two starts, the most passing touchdowns through two-career starts by a Patriots player. Jimmy Garoppolo (2016), Tom Ramsey (1987), and Tom Yewcic (1962) each had 4.
- Scored his first rushing touchdown with a 17-yard scoring run in the first quarter in the win vs. the New York Jets (10/27), the longest touchdown run by a Patriots QB since Bailey Zappe scored on a 17-yard touchdown run at Buffalo on Dec. 31, 2023. Finished the game with 3 rushing attempts for 46 yards with long runs of 17 yards and 18 yards before leaving the game in the second quarter due to injury.
- Had 95 yards rushing on 8 attempts at Tennessee (11/3), the third time in team history that a Patriots quarterback reached at least 90 yards rushing in a game and the third-most rushing yards by a Patriots QB in team history. Had a 26-yard run in the first quarter, the longest run by a Patriots QB since Cam Newton's 49-yard run vs. the New York Jets on Jan. 3, 2021, and added a 22-yard run in the third quarter. Maye is the only Patriots QB with two 20-yard runs in a single game since 1980. On third-and-5 with four seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, extended the play by 11.82 seconds, the second-longest time to throw on any touchdown pass since tracking began in 2016, to connect with RB Rhamondre Stevenson for a 5-yard touchdown pass to force overtime.
- Set career-highs in completions and passing yards vs. the L.A. Rams (11/17), finishing 29-of-39 for 282 yards and 2 touchdowns.
- Recorded his 10th touchdown to a different receiver on a 38-yard touchdown pass to TE Austin Hooper in the fourth quarter at Miami (11/24), tying former Denver Broncos QB Steve Ramsey (1971-73) for the most consecutive touchdown to a different receiver to start a career.
- Was 24-of-30 for 238 yards for an 80.0 completion percentage and added 59 rushing yards vs. Indianapolis (12/1) en route to the team's most yards on offense (422) since it had 409 total yards on offense at Minnesota on Nov. 24, 2022. Had a 41-yard run in the first quarter, which is tied for the third-longest run by a Patriots quarterback. It is the fifth time a Patriots quarterback had a 40-yard run in a game, and it is the longest run by a Patriots quarterback since QB Cam Newton had a 49-yard run vs. the New York Jets on Jan. 3, 2021. Converted the third 2-point conversion of the season when he connected with WR Kayshon Boutte in the fourth quarter after an 11-yard touchdown run by RB Antonio Gibson.
- Had his second-straight game completing 80% of his passes after finishing 19-of-23 for 202 yards for a career-high 82.6 completion percentage at Arizona (12/15). The only other Patriots quarterback to ever have back-to-back games with an 80 percent completion percentage was QB Mac Jones in 2021 (11/14) at Cleveland with an 82.6 completion percentage and at Atlanta (11/18) with an 84.6 completion percentage.
- Threw a 36-yard touchdown to WR DeMario Douglas in the second quarter vs. the L.A. Chargers (12/28), extending his streak of throwing a touchdown pass to eight-straight games. Tied Jim Plunkett (1971) for the longest such streak by a rookie in franchise history. The NFL rookie record is 13-straight games with a touchdown pass by Peyton Manning in 1998 and Baker Mayfield in 2018 with Cleveland. Maye's streak is the longest for a rookie in the NFL since Justin Herbert had a 10-game streak in 2020. Has been responsible for 17 touchdowns (15 passing, 2 rushing) in his first 12 career games. The only Patriots player with more touchdowns in their first 12 games with the team was Butch Songin (21 in 1960), while Randy Moss (17 in 2007) and Jim Plunkett (17 in 1971) also had 17. The 36-yard touchdown pass to WR DeMario Douglas was his fourth touchdown pass of at least 30 yards and his second 30-yarder to Douglas. Maye's four touchdown passes of least 30 yards are the most by the team since Mac Jones had five such passes in 2022.
- Started the game vs. Buffalo (1/5/25), but left after the first series and was replaced by QB Joe Milton III.
