- Named a member of The Athletic's Freshman All-America Second Team to become the fourth Rebel to earn Freshman All-America honors since the formation of the Mountain West, joining Devonte Boyd (2014), offensive lineman Matt Murphy (2007) and receiver Ryan Wolfe (2006), who were all honored by the Football Writers Association of America.
- The seventh Rebel overall and third receiver to be voted Conference Freshman of the Year.
- In the season finale at Hawai'i, he became the 21st Rebel to reach double-digits for receptions in a game – and the first since Boyd in 2016 – with a total of 10 for a career-high 144 yards.
