2023 (12/12)

Played and started in 12 games and recorded 619 rushing yards on 156 carries (4.0 avg) with 4 rushing touchdowns and 238 receiving yards on 38 receptions.
Was inactive due to injury for three games of the season - at Pittsburgh (12/7), vs. Kansas City (12/17) and at Denver (12/24) - before being placed on injured reserve on Dec. 27.
Compiled three straight games with 100 total yards:
- Week 9 vs. Washington (129 - 87 rush, 42 rec.)
- Week 12 vs. Indianapolis (102 - 88 rush, 14 rec.)
- Week 13 at N.Y. Giants (107 - 98 rush, 9 rec.)

Took a handoff from QB Mac Jones on a 1st-and-10 in the second quarter vs. Washington (11/5) where he took it 64 yards for a touchdown. It marked his longest career rush and rushing touchdown and gave the Patriots a 17-10 lead. He now has three touchdown runs of at least 30 yards in his career. Finished the game with 9 carries for 87 yards for a 9.7-yard average, the highest average of his career and the third time he has at least a 9.0-yard average.
Had a season-high 98 yards rushing at New York Giants (11/26), and with 9 receiving yards, he finished with 107 scrimmage yards and a touchdown that came in the third quarter. He became only the second Patriots player in the last 10 seasons to have three straight games of at least 100 yards from scrimmage.

Ran the ball once and caught one pass in limited action in his NFL debut vs. Miami (9/12).
Inactive at N.Y. Jets (9/19), vs. New Orleans (9/26) and vs. Tampa Bay (10/3).
Returned to the field at Houston (10/10) as a reserve running back. Carried the ball 11 times for 23 yards.
Scored his first NFL touchdown on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter vs. Dallas (10/17). Carried the ball five times for 23 yards to go with three receptions for 39 yards, both career-highs.
Inactive vs. N.Y. Jets (10/24).
Returned to the field at L.A. Chargers (10/31) and carried the ball eight times for 26 yards.
Led the team in rushing yards (62) and receiving yards (44) at Carolina (11/7). Connected with QB Mac Jones on a short pass that resulted in a 41-yard gain to help set up the Patriots first score of the day when RB Damien Harris scored on a 3-yard touchdown run. Won Big 12 championships in both seasons at Oklahoma.

Attended Centennial High School in Las Vegas, Nev. As a junior in 2015, he was the Las Vegas Sun High School Player of the Year.
