Antonio Gibson was signed by the New England Patriots as an unrestricted free agent from Washington on March 14, 2024 ... Originally drafted by Washington in the third round (66th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
SEASONAL REVIEWS
2024 (17/3)
- Played in 17 games with three starts and finished with 120 rushing attempts for 538 yards, a 4.5-yard average and 1 rushing touchdown, 23 receptions for 206 yards and 9 kickoff returns for 239 yards.
- Rushed for 96 yards on 11 attempts vs. Seattle (9/15), averaging 8.7 yards-per carry, the highest average in his career (minimum 10 carries). He recorded a career-long 45 yard run in the fourth quarter.
- In the fourth quarter at San Francisco (9/29), caught a 14-yard pass from QB Jacoby Brissett and added 36 yards after the catch for a 50-yard gain. It is the second-longest reception of his career, behind only his 73-yard touchdown at Buffalo on Sept. 26, 2021.
- Made his first start as a Patriot vs. Miami (10/6) when the team rushed 19 times for 151 yards for a 7.9-yard average, the team's highest rushing average in a game in team history. The previous high was a 7.8-yard average when the team rushed 25 times for 196 yards vs. Miami on Dec. 23, 2007.
- Made his second consecutive start with the Patriots in place of injured RB Rhamondre Stevenson vs. Houston (10/13).

- Played in 16 games with 2 starts, totaling 48 receptions for 389 yards and 2 touchdowns and 65 rushing attempts for 265 yards and 1 touchdown. Also returned 14 kickoffs for 340 yards.
- Started at running back in back-to-back weeks at L.A. Rams (12/17) and at N.Y. Jets (12/24).

- Played wide receiver at Memphis for two seasons, playing in 28 games with 11 starts and recording 44 receptions for 834 yards and 4 touchdowns. Also rushed 33 times for 369 yards and 4 touchdowns.
