On Friday, Feb. 25, Patriots LB Jerod Mayo and LB Rob Ninkovich congratulated youth from the Newton Pop Warner banquet at Gillette Stadium. Mayo and Ninkovich spoke to the players, cheerleaders, parents and coaches about working hard in school, the importance of academics, making good choices and setting goals. After they spoke to the students they participated in a question and answer session and later signed autographs for those in attendance.
