Patriots Alumni deliver Empowerment Coats to Brockton VA
Patriots Alumni Vernon Crawford and Harold Shaw helped to deliver ten of fifty Empowerment Coats on Tuesday, November 28th. These coats were presented to veterans living in the Brockton VA’s Howard House, a permanent housing facility for homeless veterans. The remaining forty coats were delivered to veterans currently living in the streets in Pittsfield, MA and Provincetown, MA.
Patriots pay tribute to fallen soldiers
More than a dozen current and former Patriots players and their family members teamed up with the Massachusetts Military Heroes Foundation to pay tribute to fallen soldiers. In advance of Memorial Day weekend, the current and former Patriots helped to plant more than 37,000 American flags in Boston Common to represent the more than 37,000 brave Massachusetts service members who gave his or her life defending our country since the Revolutionary War.
Patriots serve up smoothies at Boston Children's Hospital
On May 16, Patriots players Harvey Langi, Jordan Matthews, Cordarelle Patterson, Derek Rivers, Kyle Van Noy and James White visited the Patient Entertainment Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and helped to make smoothies for children and their families. Afterwards, the players visited patients throughout the hospital to make sure that everybody received a smoothie and a Patriots gift bag.
Patriots team up with AccesSportAmerica to lead football skills clinic
Patriots players Dwayne Allen, Rex Burkhead, Patrick Chung and Lawrence Guy teamed with AccesSportAmerica and the Harvard football team to lead a football skills clinic for more than 150 high school students with disabilities. AccesSportAmerica is a nation-wide, non-profit organization that inspires higher function and fitness for children and adults living with disabilities through high-challenge sports and training.
Patriots players and cheerleader visit Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital
Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore, defensive back Jordan Richards and Patriots cheerleader Alex visited Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, Mass. on May 2. The special guests visited several patients in their rooms to offer their support and provide patients with a Patriots gift bag. Afterwards, Stephon, Jordan and Alex made their way to the therapy gym and spent time interacting with the hospital staff and patients.
Patriots Marathon Team Finishes Strong
More than twenty runners represented the Patriots Foundation at the 2018 Boston Marathon on April 16. Despite the inclement weather, every member of the team crossed the finish line on Boylston Street. Together, this year’s team raised more than $223,000 in support of the Patriots Foundation.
Patriots Put On Football Clinic at Joint Base Cape Cod
Joe Thuney, David Andrews, Ted Karras and Marquis Flowers, along with Patriots cheerleaders and alumni, put on a Football For You clinic at Joint Base Cape Cod on Thursday, April 19, 2018. The Patriots led the kids, ages 7-14, through offensive and defensive skill stations to teach proper football technique while also emphasizing the importance of an active lifestyle.

Waddle also signed books and team photos for the children, who received both as a gift.
Patriots Read Across America
Patriots players Duron Harmon, Stephen Gostkowski, Ted Karras, Derek Rivers and Harvey Langi, and several Patriots cheerleaders, visited schools in Foxborough, Everett, Walpole, Marlborough, New Bedford, Medford and Brockton over the past week to read to school children as part of the "Read between the lines" and "Read by the river" programs.

Patriots Families Volunteer in Minnesota
More than 40 friends and family members of Patriots players, coaches and football staff volunteered at Second Harvest Heartland, a food bank in Golden Valley, Minnesota. They teamed with Patriots cheerleaders and staff from UnitedHealthcare to repackage bulk foods for families in need. The New England Patriots Foundation also presented Second Harvest Heartland with a $5,000 donation.
