OPENING STATEMENT:
That was a nice way to end this trip for us. I really have to give the players a lot of credit this week. It was a tough game against the Jets, kind of a quick turnaround. We moved everything up for them.

It was really kind of like a short week for us. Came a long way, but I thought they really did a good job in their preparation and they executed and played very well out there today.

Really proud of the way our players performed. I give them all the credit in the world. They had a couple tough weeks here with the Seattle trip, then this trip. They didn't let it affect them. They just took care of business, played a good, solid football game.

Looking forward to getting a few days of rest here and then turning our attention to Buffalo. But it's great to come here and come out of here with a good win like that against the Rams. I have a lot of respect for the Rams. They're a good football team, but we had a good day today. Players did a real good job in all three units.

(On how the team responded...)

COACH BELICHICK: Every team we play is a good football team. Every week is tough in this league. You got to come ready to play every week. You know that your opponents are. That's what makes this a great game. Every Sunday is its own challenge. Nobody knows what's going to happen in the NFL on Sunday. That's why we play the games.

(On if the defense was more agressive this week...)

COACH BELICHICK: Take a look at the calls after the game. I didn't sense it was much different.

(On traveling home...)

COACH BELICHICK: That is up to our travel people, the people in our organization work on that. We'll see exactly what we have there.

(On being 2-0 at Wembley Stadium..)

COACH BELICHICK: I certainly like the result, yes. Good win for us against Tampa. It was a really good win for us today. It's a great feeling to walk out of here feeling like you played well, knowing you can kind of relax for a little bit here not have another game for two weeks. We can relax a little bit and enjoy this one for a few moments.

We will quickly return our attention to Buffalo. It feels good to win and have these kind of results.

(On support by the fans at Wembley Stadium...)

COACH BELICHICK: I don't think I'd go quite that far. It was good support here. The Rams had a lot of support here, too. We had a lot of our fans here and looked like we had some London fans here at the game. That was a good feeling.

(On how the offense was used...)

COACH BELICHICK: I'd say it is always a game plan thing. We take a look at who we play each week and what we feel like is the best way to attack that team. I don't think we worry too much about how we played somebody else, didn't play somebody else. It's a new team.

That doesn't mean you can't do a similar thing. We have to look at who we're playing. We can't do something just because it worked last week.

(On the offense...)

COACH BELICHICK: I would say from our standpoint, we tried to get in formations and personnel groups that we feel like could give us an edge one way or the other, either on the play, a pre-snap, gives us an indication of what they're going to do, a matchup that we could create. Tom did a good job of finding those.

We blocked well. We threw the ball well. We gained some yards in the running game. Scored in the red zone. Didn't turn the ball over. So it's good execution offensively. A lot of good things there.

(On the play of the defense...)

COACH BELICHICK: Well, I think probably when we look at the game we'll see things all the way around. Some were good, some could have been better. Overall I thought we did a lot of good things defensively, but it wasn't perfect certainly. There are a lot of things we can continue to work on.

It was good to come up with a couple of balls. We had our hands on a couple of more. You never like to give up, I don't know, what was it, 16 for 18 at one point. You want to run those a little tighter than we did, run a little better. It's a combination.

I'd say our pass rush wasn't as good as what I hoped it would be. Our coverage, therefore, always is going to be put in a little more stress when we didn't rush quite as well. There were times we did rush well, but we have to do it more consistently.

(On the play of the offensive line...)

COACH BELICHICK: Thought the offensive line did a good job. Tom did a good job of stepping up in the pocket, too. There were plenty of times when they were running past him. That was a result of the offensive line giving us a pocket he could step up into.

It's good teamwork all the way around. Certainly Sebastian and Nate saw two good rushers today.

(On the running backs...)

COACH BELICHICK: Our backs have been productive this year, they really have, including Bolden, who wasn't here today. Got good production from all those guys. We're confident when they're in the game. Different groups and packages, that type of thing for them. Whichever guy is in there, we have a lot of confidence in. They've all been playing well for us.

(On arriving on Friday...)

COACH BELICHICK: We talked about that before the game. I think it's always easy at the end of the game to look back and say, based on the results, it was or it wasn't.

The better thing to do is look at it before the game and say: How do you feel going into it?

I think in talking to our players, our assistant coaches, some of our medical people, strength trainers, we felt the team was ready to go today from a physical standpoint - that we were rested, had some physical energy, were focused and ready to go.

Of course, it's easy when you win like we did today. Kind of the better measuring stick is how you felt before the game, before you knew the results. We all felt good about that.

We did that last time we were out here. I think the players handled it well. I thought they handled it well this time. I felt like going into the game, we had good energy; we'd be ready to go. We played a pretty good football game.

(On Wembley Stadium...)

COACH BELICHICK: Well, every stadium is different. Every stadium has its own personality, own atmosphere, environment. Wembley Stadium is big, almost cavernous there with the opening up on top. The lighting is a little bit different.

It's a big crowd, a good crowd. They were into the game. Again, you hear a lot of back and forth cheering in a game, which normally it's one way or the other. When you play home, it's your fans. When you play on the road, it's their fans. This is a bit of a split. It's unique. Usually don't get games like that.

The stadium was great. Playing on grass is always good. We play most of our games on turf. It's good to see the jerseys muddy, grass stains. Guys picking up dirt out of their facemasks, stuff like that. We don't see a lot of that back in the States. We see grass fields down in Florida, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville. It's Florida grass. We were out there in the mud and rain. Good old fashioned football game. I think our guys liked it.

Thank you.
