FOXBORO, Mass. - A memorial service for former New England Patriots offensive tackle Leon Gray will be held on Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m.

             FOXBORO, Mass. - A memorial service for former New England Patriots offensive tackle Leon Gray will be held on Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. at the Charles Street AME Church, 551 Warren  St. in Roxbury.  

Gray, 49, whose body was found in his Roxbury apartment on November 11, played for the Patriots for six seasons beginning in 1973 and was selected for the Pro Bowl in 1976 and 1978. Regarded as one of the top offensive tackles in the NFL during his 11-year career, Gray played for the Houston Oilers and New Orleans Saints before retiring in 1983.

Gray is survived by his son, Leon Jr. Burial is scheduled for Saturday, Nov ember 17 in Olive Branch, Miss.
