Mike Reiss of the MetroWest Daily News explores the mentoring relationship between Patriots wide receiver David Terrell and Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin. "He controlled ballgames and that's what I want to do, be in position to control ballgames with your quarterback and running back. I feel like I can be that type of guy," said Terrell. Finally, Alan Greenberg of the Hartford Courant offers a story on Eric Mangini's and Tebucky Jones' fourth Football Fundamentals Mini-Camp at Bulkeley High School which takes place this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. "When I was in high school, there were a bunch of kids who faced the decision to do right or do wrong. They weren't bad kids, they weren't thugs. But when you went down the balance sheet, the negative opportunities outweighed the positive. We're trying to be a positive here. The [foundation's] work is pure and sincere. These kids need some friends. As responsible adults, it's our responsibility to try to make things better for these kids, who have been behind the eight ball, " said Mangini. The camp features instruction from over 60 college and NFL coaches and also several Patriots players.
