In today's blitz, Adalius Thomas responds to being benched and will he be deactivated again Sunday? Learn which rookie is ready to participate on the field and find out who missed Wednesday's practice.

Patriots LB Adalius Thomas simply wants to move past being benched last Sunday against the Tenneesse Titans. The Boston Globe reports Thomas respects the decision of coach Bill Belichick saying "it is what it is whether you like it or not, that's what it is." Thomas added that no single player is larger than the team or game.

The Hartford Courant reports Thomas could still be deactivated for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London.

WR Brandon Tate has been sidelined this season due to a torn ACL suffered during his senior season at North Carolina. After a lengthy rehabilitation and hours spent in team meetings, the young receiver is prepared to put his career in motion reports the Boston Herald. Tate commented on his injury status and what he's learned from WR **Randy Moss.**

*ESPN Boston *reports rookie CB Darius Butlermissed practice Wednesday stemming from an ankle injury. Others missing at practice: WR Julian Edelman, T Matt Light and RB Sammy Morris.

Numerous sources report Edelman has a broken arm and could miss 4-6 weeks.

LB Gary Guyton has found his way into the core of the team's defense. He stepped in when LB Jerod Mayo went down with a strained MCL and assumed the signal-calling duties for the defense. Now, Guyton has become a regular. “Experience for me is just remarkable to have right now," he said according to the Providence Journal. "Being that I'm a young guy and am able to get all of the different looks and the experience I get, any experience I get playing on the field and having a lot of snaps is great for me. I have grown and become a better player from that."
