Patriots remove C Ryan Wendell from PUP list

The New England Patriots removed rookie center Ryan Wendell from the PUP list today.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots removed rookie center Ryan Wendell from the PUP list today.

Wendell, 22, was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State on May 2, 2008. The 6-foot-2-inch, 275-pound offensive lineman was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs and was a first-team All-WAC selection as a senior in 2007. In 2006, he started every game and earned All-WAC and Academic All-WAC honors. He also started every game as a sophomore in 2005 after earning WAC Co-Freshman of the Year honors in 2004.
