Patriots sign WR Buddy Farnham to practice squad

The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed WR Buddy Farnham to the practice squad.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed WR Buddy Farnham to the practice squad.

Farnham, 6-0, 185 pounds, was originally signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent out of Brown on May 3, 2010 and was released on Aug. 9 before being re-signed on Aug. 15. He was released on the final cutdown on Sept. 4.

Farnham was named the Ivy League and New England Player of the Year last season as a senior at Brown. He completed the 2009 season with 1,003 receiving yards and 74 receptions. Farnham finished his college career with 229 receptions, sixth in the Ivy League record book, while his 2,895 career yards are seventh in Ivy League history.
