Tight end Aaron Hernandez (right ankle) practiced for the second day in a row. He was running full-speed during the pre-practice stretching and warm-up period and looked fine doing so.
After practice, Hernandez spent a few minutes answering reporters' questions. He spoke first about becoming a father for the first time this week. "It was definitely a great experience – beautiful little girl. I'm excited. Definitely a life-changer."
His daughter, Avielle, was born November 6, which is also Hernandez' birthday. "Yeah, that's crazy," he continued. "Best birthday gift you could have. I couldn't ask for my life to be better at this point."
When asked why he was wearing his road jersey at practice this afternoon, and if that was an indication that he'd return to the field this Sunday, Hernandez replied, "Game time. That's it. Game time. I'm feeling pretty good, and I'm happy. I'm smiling." Read into that what you will.
Linebacker Tracy White (left foot), defensive end Trevor Scott (hamstring) and rookie running back Brandon Bolden (left knee) remain the only players not at practice.
The Buffalo Bills reported via their team Twitter account that defensive end Chris Kelsay left practice with a neck injury and will require further evaluation. Kelsay would have taken the place of injured starter Mark Anderson this week.
