Malcolm Butler's life may soon be hitting the big screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-nominated director of "Lion," Daniel Levin, purchased the life rights for both Malcolm and his agent Derek Simpson. "The Secondary" would follow Derek's pursuit to get Malcolm a tryout and Malcolm's journey as an undrafted free agent working at Popeye's to a Super Bowl hero.

While the logistics of the movie are still in the early stages, it's never too soon to begin speculating and fantasy-casting Malcolm's role, and thanks to a prophetic Patriots Football Weekly interview, we have an idea of who Malcolm would cast to play himself.

As training camp and preseason begin, PFW conducts fun interviews with rookies and newly acquired players in a "Getting to Know You" Q&A. Back in 2014 when Malcolm was a rookie and before all of New England knew him as  Super Bowl hero, the PFW crew asked Malcolm a handful of their "Getting to Know You" questions about his favorite TV show, first time on a plane, and (you guessed it) who would play him in a movie about his life.

His answer: Mike Epps.

Unless things have changed since 2014, the actor, who has appeared in movies like "The Hangover" and "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," should start fine tuning his football skills.
