Jaguars sign Cousin, re-sign Gray

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed free-agent cornerback Terry Cousin and re-signed third-string quarterback Quinn Gray.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 8, 2005) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars signed free-agent cornerback Terry Cousin and re-signed third-string quarterback Quinn Gray.

A nine-year veteran, Cousin played all 16 games with the New York Giants last season after signing as a free agent from Carolina in March. He also started five games at safety and tallied 33 tackles and one interception last season before being released last month.

Gray didn't see any action behind Byron Leftwich and David Garrard last season. He will compete with Nate Hybl for the third-team position this season.
