Attendees: Pete Brock, Fred Kirsch, Max Lane, Scott Zolak, Len St. Jean, Steve Grogan, Ed Toner, Jon Williams, Derwin Williams, Tim Fox, Jim Bowman, Danny Villa. Bill Lenkaitis showed up after everything was said and done for a sandwich and a beer. It's the thought that counts.
After an update on auction site (if you want to start making money, you'll need to fill out a W9 -- call Fred) and call for dues was made, the meeting focused on its main item, the 09/20/03 flag football game against the Jets at Gillette Stadium.
It was resolved that job No. 1 is identifying the players who will be involved. Pete Brock is in charge of that committee. The goal is to get the majority of the commitments within the next two weeks.
Derwin Williams and Jon Williams voluteered to steer the competition/rules committee. Danny Villa will come up with some ticket sales packages. Max Lane expressed interest in helping out with the sponsorship drive.
The meeting's agenda follows. There will be a meeting the last Thursday of every month with frequent updates on this event throughout.
