The Patriots defeated the Tennessee Titans in a frigid 2003 divisional playoff game on January 10, 2004. The temperature at kickoff was 4 degrees, with a wind chill feel of -10, making it the coldest game in Patriots history. The Patriots won 17-14 to kick start their second Super Bowl championship playoff run.

The Patriots battled AFC East rival New York, as well as the elements, when they defeated the Jets in the regular season finale on Dec. 31, 2017 at Gillette Stadium. The temperature was 13 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind chill factor of 2 degrees, making it the coldest regular-season home game in Foxboro in franchise history.

Throwback Photos: Patriots vs. Dolphins 2002, Presented by Empower
The Patriots erased an 11-point deficit with five minutes to go force overtime and then beat Miami, 27-24, on Adam Vinatieri's 35-yard field goal in overtime in the season finale on Dec. 29 in Foxboro. The win gave New England a 9-7 record and kickstarted the first of their 18-straight winning seasons.

Playing on a short week hasn't been too much of a problem for the Patriots. Since the league began its Thursday night scheduling in 2006, the Patriots are 7-1 and have won their last six games.
