SEASONAL REVIEWS

2024 (17/0)

  • Played in all 17 games as a special teams ace and also saw action on defense at safety. Finished with 4 total tackles (2 solo, 2 assists), 2 sacks and 3 quarterback hits. Led the team with 9 special teams tackles and had 1 blocked punt.
  • Named to the Associated Press All-Pro First Team as a special teamer. Was named to his first-career Pro Bowl as the AFC Special Teamer and to his second-career NFLPA All-Pro team. Also named to the PFWA All-NFL team for special teams.
  • Played safety on defense in seven games for the first time in his career. Prior to those snaps, he saw action on defense for two Hail Mary attempts vs. Buffalo (10/22/23) and at Denver (12/24/23).
  • Recorded a career-high 3 special teams tackles in the 16-10 win at Cincinnati on opening day (9/8).

Had his first-career sack - at any level of his football career- in the third quarter on a 9-yard sack of Williams on a third-down play. Contributed to the team's total of 9 sacks, tied for the second-most in franchise history. Played a key role in limiting the Bears offense to 142 total yards, the Patriots' fewest yards allowed since Nov. 20, 2022, when they held the New York Jets to 103 yards.

  • Made the 53-man roster as a rookie free agent and played in 16 regular season games exclusively on special teams, registering a team-high 14 special teams tackles, including 11 solo special teams tackles (tied for second in the NFL), and 2 fumble recoveries on the punt team.

  • Made a key block in DB Marcus Jones 84-yard game-winning punt return for a touchdown vs. N.Y. Jets (11/20). Had one solo tackle.

COLLEGE

  • Started his college career at Oregon where he played safety and made 74 total tackles with 4 interceptions. Moved to wide receiver and caught 20 passes for 274 yards as a sophomore.
  • Transferred to Arizona but when the PAC-12 suspended games, he moved to Texas.
  • He transferred to Texas as a graduate transfer where he played receiver for 1 season before moving back to safety in 2021.
  • Had a total of 143 tackles and four interceptions and 55 receptions for 661 yards during his career.
  • Earned PAC-12 All-Conference First Team honors in 2017 and 2018 for his special teams contributions.
