Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston believes Ryan Wendell, Dan Connolly, Josh Kline and Chris Barker are members of the Patriots' offensive line who aren't locks to make the team.

"The health of Vollmer, who is recovering from a broken ankle sustained last October, will be important to monitor," adds Reiss. "If he's not ready, it could open an extra spot. I would project nine offensive linemen on the final roster." READ MORE>>


Jeff Howe]( of the Boston Herald reports that the Patriots could have their first round draft pick, Dominique Easley, signed in the next few days, according to a source.

"Nowadays, there isn't exactly a lot to haggle over outside of bonus money, guarantees and offset language, which could lead to the Florida product inking his deal less than two weeks after being drafted," notes Howe. "As a first-round pick, the Patriots will have a team option on Easley for 2018." READ MORE>>

Doug Kyed of believes the Patriots "have the deepest group of cornerbacks in the league."

"Browner's four-game suspension to start the season likely will force the Patriots to carry six cornerbacks coming out of training camp, which should allow either Green, an undrafted free agent in 2013, or Thomas, a Patriots 2014 sixth-round pick, to earn a roster spot," writes Kyed.
