An update on Brady's knee tops the Thursday edition of the Blitz.

The biggest news involving the Patriots today comes from out in Las Vegas, where a world-renowned surgeon for professional athletes has weighed in on the status of Tom Brady'sinjured knee.

The prognosis sounds encouraging.

"He had excellent care, and he had an aggressive approach early on with early recognition to be able to control the infection, and therefore he's gotten through it," Dr. James Andrewssaid. He's in Nevada taking part in a panel of medical experts.

"They didn't sit on it and wait on it, hide with their head in the sand," Andrews continued. "They went after it immediately."
