Matt Light has a new job. He'll still be playing for the Pats, but it seems he'll also be taking on a representative's role with the players union.
According to a weekend story in The Boston Globe, Light was an alternate rep for the past two years behind former Patriot Mike Vrabel. One of his first issues will be to try to help broker a new labor deal between the players and owners.
"I think the owners want to get a deal done," Light said in the story. "The players want to get a deal done. So it's about finding out how best to accomplish that, and there should be enough adults in the room that we can come to a fine conclusion."
There's also a candid conversation with **Adalius Thomas**, who had no problem sharing his thoughts about several developments around the NFL of late.
And both the Globe and *Boston Herald *have published stories about a bizarre incident that allegedly took place at **Tom Brady's **Costa Rican wedding ceremony over the weekend.
