Last night's preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was anything but pretty and proved that we are far from regular season form.
"Well, I think it's pretty obvious that we've got a lot of work to do based on all three phases of the game," said coach Bill Belichickto the Boston Globe.
Once again, a low point from last night's game was the play of the back-up quarterbacks. Although there was improvement, a lot of work still needs to be done. The *Boston Globe *has more on QB's Matt Casseland Kevin O'Connell.
Finally, last night marked a return to Tampa for S John Lynch, who played for the Buccaneers for 11 seasons and become one of the best Safeties in football.
"It's always nice to come back here," Lynch told the* Globe*. "The people treated us wonderfully. It seems like a long time ago now."
