QB Tom Brady

(on the game) "Well, we just didn't move the ball consistently enough to score points, score touchdowns. They're a good defense, they play well at home, and we just didn't really take advantage of our opportunities."

(on Wes Welker's game) "Yes, he made plenty of plays out there for us. He's a big part of our offense. It's just a matter of continuing to find ways to get him the ball and to continue to spread it around to all the different guys – a lot of guys contributed."

(on the penalties affecting the game) "I don't have any control over that, so I just try to do my job."

(on the frustration of not being able to finish it) "Certainly, it's situational football that we talk about. Two-minute, four-minute … Two-minute was good before the end of the half, four-minute – we had a chance to win it. We just don't play well when we need to. Certainly, we've got to play our best when it means the most, and we need to start winning close games."

(on if he's comfortable in the no-huddle) "Yeah, I thought it put a lot of pressure on those guys. I don't think they fooled us very much with their different looks. They just played well when they needed to, especially in the red area."

TE Rob Gronkowski

(on the offense) "We just didn't make enough plays in the game to top it off. We've got to finish and execute and play 60 minutes of football."

(on the game) "It's always a tough competition versus the Ravens. They're a great team, they're a hard-nosed football team. You've got to be ready all 60 minutes of the game, because it always goes down to the wire against them."

(on his role in the game) "It's whatever the coaches have me do, whatever they call, whatever the play calls they have, and I've got to perform better out there."

(on the Ravens extra attention towards him) "You just have to react to the defenses out there. In the end, they just made more plays than us. We have to finish off at the end of the game."

(on the rhythm of the game) "You have to be ready for every situation. You get used to it. There are a lot of time outs in the NFL, there's a lot of stop in play. You've got to be able to get the rhythm flowing after a time out, after a flag, whatever it is. So you just have to execute at all times."

(on all of the controversial calls) "It really doesn't matter."

DL Vince Wilfork

(on the end of the game) "We didn't do what we needed to do to help our offense tonight, and it sucks because coming into the game, we had a pretty good idea how we wanted to play it. The first quarter showed, but it seems after that, we couldn't get off the field. The offense played their tails off, and we just left them out to dry, and we can't do that. So we have to take it and move on. We have to get better from this. We definitely have to get better. We will get better. It's tough, because we thought, coming in, we had a pretty good idea of how we wanted to play them, and it didn't work out for us."

(on the frustration of so many penalties) "It's very frustrating, but what can you do? We're an aggressive defense. It takes away from our aggressiveness at times. The things we try to do, it takes away, and we're hesitant to do this, do that, but we have to play within the rules."

(on the final field goal) "From my angle, it looked very close. I was frustrated at that, but there were a lot of things I was frustrated about."

(on if they should have reviewed the field goal) "They have to. You have to. In a game like this, you have to. They ran off the field, so, it is what it is. I'm not going to sit here and pick a fight with those guys. They have a job to do, we have a job to do. The only thing we can do is play better and try not to be in those situations. We'll see how it goes from here."

S Steve Gregory

(on the game) "It's a loss. We have to find a way to play better. They made plays and we didn't, that's what it comes down to. In the end, we have to find a way to make a play to stop them and to keep them from getting into field goal range, to kick that ball. In the end, they did a little bit better job than we did."

(on the chippiness of the game and all the whistles) "I don't really think about that stuff too much. I just let that stuff play out. We just have to go out and play better."

(on the frustration of the game) "You put in work during the week and you want to go out and win a game. When you lose, it doesn't feel good. We have to go back to work and get better from this, see the film, make the corrections and then move on. There's a lot of football left to play this year, and by no means are we out of anything. So we keep plugging away and learn from this experience that we had tonight and go out and get to work on both of them."

CB Devin McCourty

(on all of the flags thrown) "It's a football game and we can't control that. If a flag is thrown, that's something that we can't worry about. It's a big game and we wanted to get this win. It's simple, you have to go, and execute, and practice and get better."

(on his performance on the last drive) "You have to make plays, plain and simple. There were more plays, not just on the last drive, but all throughout the game that I can make and my team can make. And it's simple, I have to make those plays."

(on why he didn't make those plays) "If I knew, I would have made them. It's just that I have to work at it. I have to get better because I was close on a lot of plays and I just have to get it done."

(on whether or not it's a confidence thing) "No, it's not a confidence thing. I just have to make plays. I had two balls in my hand; I have to make those plays. This is the National Football League and if you go out there with no confidence, you'll see a worst player than I played. You just have to make plays and it's simple."

(on his fourth quarter potential interception) "It was in my hand and I just had to make the play."

(on the Ravens' game-winning field goal) "From my angle, it was tough to see. The ball was right by the goal post, so I couldn't really tell. It looked close. That's all I have to say."

WR Deion Branch

(on his first game back) "We didn't take advantage of the plays we had. We missed a lot of opportunities. Baltimore is a great team, with a great defense. You can't give them any extra chances."

(on the Patriots' early offensive success) "Early on, we were doing a good job executing plays and we were in a rhythm. But it's all on us. We had too many missed plays, too many missed blocks and too many penalties."

(on the Ravens' final drive) "We were all just standing on the sideline, hoping our defense could make a play, but we were also wishing that we had taken advantage of some of the chances we had. We always want the ball at the end of the game. On our last drive we got to midfield and then we stopped executing. We had to punt and that's all on us."

(on the number of controversial calls) "It's not the first time we've played in a game with a lot of controversial calls. It was happening on both sides of the ball. I'm sure they were upset about some of those calls too. But honestly, when we're doing what we do best, we take the game out of the referees' hands."
