Patriots Remove OT Nick Kaczur from PUP List

The New England Patriots removed offensive tackle Nick Kaczur from the physically unable to perform list today. Kaczur participated in his first practice of the season this afternoon.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots removed offensive tackle Nick Kaczur from the physically unable to perform list today. Kaczur participated in his first practice of the season this afternoon.

Kaczur, 27, pronounced KA-zur (with a short "a"), was selected by the Patriots in the third round (100th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-4-inch, 315-pound offensive lineman played in 14 regular season games and one playoff game as a rookie last season. He drew the starting assignment at left tackle in 11 of the final 13 regular season games and also started in the Patriots' wild card playoff game against Jacksonville on Jan. 7, 2006. The Toledo product and Brandford, Ontario native was placed on the physically unable to perform list on July 27, 2006.
