Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss addresses the media during his postgame press conference at Giants Stadium on Sunday, September 20, 2009.

On Darrelle Revis...
All week he was talking about being a shutdown corner, but there really are no shutdown corners in the league because they have help most of the game. I probably could be a shutdown corner if I had (Patriots safety Brandon) Meriweather over the top for the whole game. I think I could be a corner. You have to give credit where credit is due. I'm not taking anything away from their whole defense, secondary, defensive line, linebackers, they made plays and we didn't get things done. You have to give credit when it's due and they did a hell of a job today.

On if there were any surprises...
No, not really. I think that just having Coach Ryan and bringing his defensive philosophy to the Jets. You have to give credit when it's due. I've been in this league long enough. They played some good football today even on offense and special teams. We did some bad things out there. We did some good things, but overall the Jets won. So you have to tip your hat to them, I really give them credit there.

On the offense being frustrated...
I think the frustration sets in when we know we kick our own selves in the foot. The defense did their job. They have a job to do, that's to help the offense. The offense has a job to do, that's to put points on the board. But with the firepower that we have, it gets a little frustrating. I'm not going to sit here and lie, but at the same time, when things go bad you have to find ways to win. At the end of the game we kept going backwards. As a whole offensive unit we just didn't make things happen, so you have to give credit. That's the biggest thing, you have to tip your hats to them. They played a hell of a game.

On if there was difficulty with the execution...
No, I really felt pretty good. I'm speaking for myself, I felt good. There were times where they threw a little shaky but at the same time we prepared. We practiced all week on how we were going to game plan for this defense. We just didn't make enough plays. We kept going backwards. There's no trying to beat around the bush. They beat us up.

On trash talking during or after the game...
No. Not at all. Coach Ryan, that's his philosophy. At the same time, when you're the opposing team and you're hearing and reading things, that's billboard material. But at the same time, he doesn't play. The team plays and they backed it up. You have to really commend those guys from the top to the bottom. The safeties, corners, linebackers, defensive line, they had a good game plan and they executed it.
