Tom Brady Postgame Press Conference Transcript

(on tonight's win) "This is a great win for us. They're a good team. They play well at home, and our defense really played well. They made some very big plays which made it easier on us, the offense."

(on winning the division title) "Every year is special, but we've really earned it this year. The NFL has a lot of stiff competition. Winning 11 games is very hard. We have faced adversity all year. Of course, other teams have, too. But our mental toughness has really gotten us through this. This was the biggest game of our season, but then next week is our biggest game of the season. The games get bigger the more you win. We have to beat Buffalo."

(on getting another hat and t-shirt for winning the division) "I'll be wearing it all week. Those hats are t-shirts are important because of what they mean. I hope we can keep getting more and more hats and shirts."

(on how big this win was) "This was a great win against a very good team on the road. To come in here in one of the toughest places to play in the league and win in all three phases of the game means a lot to us."

(on how the Patriots have overcome injuries) "We've shown that we can hang together all year. Everybody did a great job today. The competition in this league is really tough."

(on how much he follows the different playoff scenarios) "All I know is we had to win this week, and we have to win next week. Buffalo is getting very good. They won today and beat Miami, so we're going to have to play well again next week."

(on his reaction to Peyton Manning breaking his touchdown pass record earlier today) "Really? I didn't know that. That's pretty cool."

(on their ball-control drive late in the game) "Our offensive line did a really great job, and it was really cool to watch our running backs reading their cuts. We did a great job on that drive, showed how well we could play."
