Photos: Patriots Foundation Celebrates Month of the Military Child

April is designated as the "Month of the Military Child," providing an opportunity to recognize and thank the children of our service members and veterans. Cross Insurance, a longtime partner and supporter of the New England Patriots, has joined forces with the New England Patriots Foundation, serving as the cornerstone partner for military initiatives. This month, the Patriots Foundation and Cross Insurance worked with New England Patriots Alumni Club to bring their "Football For You" program to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and Hanscom Air Force Base. Current and former Patriots players and Patriots cheerleaders led a free one-day football and cheer clinic for the children of servicemen and women. Children at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard had the opportunity to learn from current players Henry Anderson, Malcolm Perry, and Will Sherman, and Patriots alumni Pete Brock, Ilia Jarostchuk, Max Lane, and Dante Scarnecchia. Current players Hunter Henry and Malcolm Perry were on site to teach children at Hanscom Air Force Base, as well as Patriots alumni Pete Brock, Rick Buffington, and Steve Nelson. To end the week, the Patriots Foundation and Cross Insurance invited military families from Joint Base Cape Cod to Gillette Stadium for a movie night to watch "An Extremely Goofy Movie." Families had the opportunity to meet current Patriots players Justin Herron, Dalton Keene, and Josh Uche, as well as Patriots cheerleaders and Pat Patriot.
