FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Nearly every outlet that covers the Patriots on a regular basis is seizing this Monday on comments made over the weekend by Tom Brady. During a national radio appearance on Westwood One, Brady remarked that he is "open-minded about the [upcoming free agent] process" and that he hopes "to continue to play and do a great job. I am looking forward to what is ahead. Whatever the future may bring, I will embrace it with open arms."

Brady, as most of you already know, is entering an offseason with an expiring contract for the first time in his NFL and Patriots career. The QB also made a public appearance in Las Vegas over the weekend, where he came in contact with the owner of the Raiders, who are moving to Vegas this year. NESN.com provides a recap.

Of course, this could be a very consequential offseason for New England, and on offense, it begins with Brady, as The Providence Journal elaborates in a weekend article.

Meanwhile, ESPN caught up with Brady's 2019 backup, rookie QB Jarrett Stidham, to get his thoughts on the impending situation.

Elsewhere, according to an NFL Network report, former Patriots receivers coach Chad O'Shea, recently relieved of his offensive coordinator duties with Miami, is said to be latching on with the new Cleveland Browns staff of head coach Kevin Stefanski. Some observers speculated that O'Shea could be a candidate to return to Foxborough to fill a coaching staff void at wide receiver, the position he formerly held for several years prior to his one season with the Dolphins.
