Free agency and franchise tags dominated the news on Tuesday as we kick off the Patriots.com News Blitz.

The Patriots using their franchise tag on kicker Stephen Gostkowski highlighted the news on Tuesday with all of the writers weighing in on the decision. But the move affected more than just Gostkowski as both Devin McCourty and Darrelle Revis could be impacted as well.
