HEAD COACH BILL BELICHICK :
(on playing a complete game)
"I thought the players really stepped up and made plays in all three phases of the game. We did a nice job on special teams, and we played fairly well on defense. The most important thing for our football team is that we played a good football game for 60 minutes and we obviously need to do more of that. Things really seemed to go our way."
(on their play action success)
"It is always part of our offense - the running game, play action pass. Those elements are always there. It came down to good execution by the players today."
(on protecting Tom Brady)
"The guys all blocked – the offensive line, the tight ends, and the blitz pickups. They pumped their linebackers up. The Packers are hard to block, but our line did a good job in giving Tom enough time to throw."
QUARTERBACK TOM BRADY:
(on the Patriots' opening touchdown)
"It was play action and Dan (Graham) did a great job getting through there and finding a hole. He made a big catch on fourth down. It is nice to score on the opening drive because it really deflates the crowd."
(on the defense)
"The defense played great. That is a pretty good offensive team, limiting them to the few yards that they got. It was great."
(on involving the tight ends)
"I think that the scheme dictated getting those guys involved. They are a big part of our offense. It is just a matter of getting them the ball and getting them some space to work on linebackers. Anytime you have them on a linebacker, you got to feel that they can get open and take advantage of that mismatch."
DEFENSIVE LINEMAN RICHARD SEYMOUR:
(on breaking their two-game losing streak)
"It was good to get back on track. We came out with a lot of energy and we had a lot of fun. We put it all together today."
(on why this team is so good on the road)
"Sometimes you take the mentality of me against the world. If you are going to do it, it is going to be these guys in the locker room. We had a lot of fans in the stands today. I saw a lot of Patriots' jerseys running around. We definitely give credit to the fans."
