CHANDLER, Ariz. – Player interviews continued Wednesday in Arizona on the first day of practice for both Super Bowl participants.

TE Rob Gronkowski is known as a fun-loving guy, but The Boston Globe has a story today about his serious side on the football field. There's also a Globe piece about how diligent the Patriots are with their game preparation, plus a speculative story about CB Darrelle Revis' contract status with the team.

In the Boston Herald, WR Danny Amendola's reemergence is a headline story, as well as a feature on what's at stake for the Patriots in this Super Bowl, aside from the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The Providence Journal compares and contrasts the styles, approaches, and personalities of the two head coaches in this Sunday's game, Seattle's Pete Carroll and New England's Bill Belichick. ProJo also caught up with local product James Develin, the Patriots' unheralded fullback, and co-captain Vince Wilfork, who's looking to win his second Super Bowl a decade after his first.

ESPNBoston.com looks at how LB Dont'a Hightower has grown into his role on the New England defense, RB LeGarrette Blount's production since returning to the Patriots, and some of the ridiculous bets that some people are placing on this Super Bowl. There's also a nice feature on how co-captain Matthew Slater is playing for more than himself in this championship game.

NESN.com examines why Amendola and fellow WR Julian Edelman might be key factors against the Seahawks on Sunday night. It also posted a story about a former NFL QB who's coming to New England's defense in the DeflateGate saga, and a video of Gronkowski squaring off against Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch in a popular video game.

CSNNE.com has a 1-on-1 with QB Tom Brady, as well as some insight from a former Patriots starter about the way Bill Belichick coaches his team. The site also gets an NBA perspective about Super Bowl XLIX from one current and one former Celtics player.
