Patriots Cheerleader attends Cambridge Science Festival

Patriots Cheerleader Erica attends Cambridge Science Festival with the Science Cheerleader organization.

Erica, four year veteran Patriots Cheerleader, attended the Cambridge Science Festival on Saturday, April 18 with the Science Cheerleader organization.  Also in attendance were cheerleaders from both Brown University and Colgate University. The festival, which took place at the Cambridge Public Library, included multiple interactive science activities for all ages. Erica greeted and socialized with festival attendees, and encouraged children to try projects and get involved with science.

Science Cheerleader is an organization made up of professional cheerleaders who have pursued careers in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). The organization aims to inspire young girls to defy stereotypes and pursue a STEM career.  STEM has been a key factor in Erica's life.  She has degrees in applied psychology, human development and biology, with a focus in the health sciences.  Erica had a great time sharing her experiences at the Cambridge Science Festival.
