An 'Awesome' Day 2: Belichick Library, flying squirrels and more

The second day of our Drive for 5 Bus road trip brought our crew through Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. Check out their "Awesome Day" presented by Skittles.

The Drive for 5 Bus crew exited the tristate area Wednesday night and made its way south in the road trip to Houston. The gang woke up in Baltimore, and after talking to a few friendly Ravens fans, they made their way to another point of interest for Patriots Nation: The United States Naval Academy.

After checking out the football stadium and statues on the campus, Jim Murray and Hardy got a chance to see inside the Belichick Library. The collection of football books began with Coach Bill Belichick's father, Steve, who coached at the Naval Academy for more than 30 years. There they also spoke with a former teammate of Joe Cardona.

In Richmond, the Drive for 5 Bus was greeted by a crowd of fans at an unlikely spot. The Richmond Flying Squirrels, a minor league baseball team, welcomed the team and gave a gift from one squirrel to another. Julian Edelman has rocked Squirrel gear from time to time, and on Thursday night, Pat Patriot retrieved a special jersey for JE11.

The Drive for 5 crew wrapped up the night in style with a party hosted by the Patriots Fans of North Carolina fan club. With dozens of fans, former Patriot Antwan Harris and singer Scotty McCreery in the house, the bus received a hero's welcome.

Friday kicks off in Charlotte, and we're getting closer and closer to Houston. Be sure to tag #DriveFor5Bus if you see us in your city.
