Bears safety Brown exits with calf injury

Chicago Bears Pro Bowl safety Mike Brown was forced out of Chicago's playoff game against the Carolina Panthers after re-injuring a calf muscle.

CHICAGO (Jan. 15, 2006) -- Chicago Bears Pro Bowl safety Mike Brown was forced out of Chicago's playoff game against the Carolina Panthers after re-injuring a calf muscle.

Brown left the game late in the second quarter and went to the locker room before halftime. Brown, the Bears' career leader with six career defensive touchdowns, missed the final four regular-season games with the injury.
