ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (Feb. 13, 2006) -- New Buffalo Bills coach Dick Jauron added Turk Schonert, Charlie Coiner and Alex Van Pelt to his staff.

Schonert will be the team's quarterbacks coach, Coiner the tight ends coach and Van Pelt joins the staff as the offensive quality control coach.

Schonert was New Orleans' quarterbacks coach this past season and has 10 years of NFL coaching experience. He served as Buffalo's quarterbacks coach for three years beginning in 1998.

Coiner spent the last five seasons in Chicago, including the last two as the Bears' assistant special teams coach.

Van Pelt was an analyst on the Bills' radio broadcasts the last two seasons and was hired in December by the University at Buffalo to be the team's quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator.

Van Pelt played for the Bills for nine years, mostly as a backup.
