Chiefs reach agreement with WR Boerigter

The Kansas City Chiefs reached a one-year agreement with wide receiver Marc Boerigter.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 19, 2005) -- The Kansas City Chiefs reached a one-year agreement with wide receiver Marc Boerigter.

The restricted free agent has played in 31 games with Kansas City in three seasons, with 31 receptions for 578 yards and eight touchdowns. He missed the 2004 season after tearing a ligament in his right knee in a preseason game against Cleveland.

In 2002, Boerigter tied the NFL record for longest pass play with a 99-yard TD catch against San Diego.
