Dolphins sign DB Hill, re-sign RB Minor

The Miami Dolphins signed defensive back Renaldo Hill to a three-year contract as an unrestricted free agent from the Oakland Raiders.

MIAMI (March 17, 2006) -- The Miami Dolphins signed defensive back Renaldo Hill to a three-year contract as an unrestricted free agent from the Oakland Raiders.

The Dolphins also re-signed running back Travis Minor and tight end Alex Holmes, both to one-year contracts.

Hill began his career as a seventh-round draft choice of Arizona in 2001.

He played his first four years with the Cardinals before signing with the Raiders as a free agent in 2005. During his NFL career, the 5-foot-11-inch, 190-pound defensive back has played in 71 games, including 45 starts and has nine interceptions.
