DAVIE, Fla. (Feb. 6, 2007) -- The Miami Dolphins signed seven free agents, including former Oakland and San Diego linebacker Akbar Gbaja-Biamila.

Tight end Jason Rader and wide receiver P.K. Sam, who were Dolphins practice-squad players, were also signed, as was defensive tackle Steve Fifita, who was with Miami in training camp. The Dolphins also signed quarterback Gibran Hamdan, linebacker Bobby Iwuchukwu and kicker Matt Prater.

Fifita and Sam will be allocated to NFL Europe this spring.

Gbaja-Biamila, the brother of Green Bay's Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, had one tackle in three games with the Chargers this season after spending the last three years with the Raiders.
