Eagles sign Jackson to seven-year extension

PHILADELPHIA (July 20, 2006) -- Offensive lineman Jamaal Jackson signed a seven-year contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jackson started the final eight games last season at center, replacing the injured Hank Fraley.

Jackson spent the entire 2004 season on injured reserve with an arm injury. He was on the 2003 practice squad after signing as a free agent out of Delaware State.

The Eagles opened training camp July 20 at Lehigh University with rookies and select veterans.
