The New England offense scored 34 points against an Indianapolis defense that entered the game ranked first in the NFL in fewest points allowed per game with 13.5 points per game. The most points they allowed in a single game was 23 by Miami.

JERDO MAYO REGISTERS FIRST NFL SACKJerod Mayo dropped QB Peyton Manning for an 11-yard sack in the second quarter for his first NFL sack.

WELKER HAS 69-YARD PUNT RETURN IN THIRD QUARTER
Welker's 69-yard punt return in the third quarter is the longest punt return as a member of New England, besting a 44-yard return vs. Denver (10-20-08). It is the second longest punt return of his career to a 71-yard return he had vs. New England (12-20-04) while with Miami. It is the longest punt return for New England since Troy Brown had an 85-yard touchdown return on December 9, 2001 vs. Cleveland.

WELKER KEEPS IT UPWelker has seven straight games with six or more receptions after finishing with nine receptions. The record for most consecutive games with 6 receptions is 16 by Marvin Harrison from 2002-03. Welker has caught six or more passes in 21 of his last 23 regular-season games

MOSS BECOMES THE SEVENTH NFL PLAYER TO REACH 14,000 RECEIVING YARDS
WR Randy Moss became the seventh player in NFL history to reach 14,000 receiving yards. Moss entered the game needing 87 receiving yards to become the seventh player in NFL history with 14,000 receiving yards. He caught four first half passes for 144 yards to reach 14,000 yards. He reached the record on a 63-yard touchdown pass from Brady in the second quarter.

MOSS BECOME THE 11TH PLAYER IN NFL HISTORY TO REACH 900 RECEPTIONS
Moss became the 11th player in NFL history to reach 900 receptions with nine receptions against the Colts.

MOSS REACHES THREE STRAIGHT SEASONS OF 50 OR MORE RECEPTIONS
Randy Moss joined Wes Welker as the seventh player in New England history with 50-plus catches in three straight seasons. Moss had 98 receptions in 2007 and 68 receptions in 2008. He added nine receptions against Indianapolis and has 58 receptions for the year.

MOSS 100-YARD GAMESMoss had his fifth 100-yard game of the 2009 after finishing with nine catches for 179 yards. His record for 100-yard games in a single season is nine set in 2007. The NFL record is 11 by Michael Irvin in 1995. It is Moss's 64th NFL 100-yard game, which is second in NFL history to Jerry Rice who had 76 career 100-yard games.

MOSS HAS HIS 34TH TWO-PLUS TOUCHDOWN GAME.
For the 34th time in his career, Moss caught two or more touchdowns. His 34 games with two or more touchdowns is second in NFL history to Jerry Rice's 44 games with two more touchdowns in a game.

MOSS MOVES PAST JAMES LOFTON INOT SIXTH PLACE ON THE NFL'S ALL-TIME LIST
Moss entered the Indianapolis game in seventh place with 13,913 yards receiving. He finished with 179 to move past James Lofton (14,004) into sixth place on the NFL's All-Time List with 14,092 yards.

BRADY MOVES PAST BRODY FOR 20TH ON NFL'S ALL-TIME TD LISTBrady entered the game in 21st place on the NFL's All-Time Touchdown list with 213. He threw two touchdown passes to move past John Brodie (214) into 20th place on the all-time list with Steve Young is 19th on the list with 232 touchdown passes.

BRADY REGISTERS FOURTH STRAIGHT 300-YARD GAME
QB Tom Brady had his fourth straight 300-yard game (380, 308, 332, 375) and his fifth of the 2009 season. The four consecutive 300-yard games are a personal best for Brady. The NFL record for most consecutive 300-yard games is six by Steve Young (1998), Kurt Warner (2000) and Rich Gannon (2002).

BRADY HAS FIVE 300-YARD GAMES IN 2009
Brady now has five 300-yard games in 2009. The five 300-yard games are second to Brady's team-record for most 300-yard games in a season with eight in 2007. The NFL record for most 300-yard games in a single season is 10 by Rich Gannon (2002) and Drew Brees (2008).

MOSS TO BRADY AGAIN
Brady and Moss connected on a 55-yard play in the first quarter and a 63-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. The 63-yard touchdown is the second longest play of the season to the 71-yard touchdown from Brady to Moss vs. Miami (11/8).

EDLEMAN SCORES FIRST NFL TOUCHDOWN
WR Julian Edelman returned to action after missing two games with an injury and scored his first NFL touchdown on a nine-yard pass from Brady in the second quarter.

KEVIN FAULK HAS BEST GAME SINCE 2004
Kevin Faulk had his most productive rushing totals since the 2004 season, finishing with 79 yards rushing on 12 attempts for a 6.6-yard average.
