Hall Speaker Series to Feature Gil and Gino

Legendary Patriots radio broadcasters Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti will be the next speakers featured in The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon Speaker Series. The event will take place in the Raytheon Theater at The Hall on Thursday, April 23, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

Foxborough, Mass. - Legendary Patriots radio broadcasters Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti will be the next speakers featured in The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon Speaker Series. The event will take place in the Raytheon Theater at The Hall on Thursday, April 23, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti have teamed to provide Patriots fans in-depth game analysis and play-by-play for 18 consecutive seasons. The 2009 season will be their 26th calling Patriots games as a team.

Santos has articulated the sights, sounds and play-by-play action for more than 475 Patriots games to millions of fans. With 32 years as the voice of the Patriots, he is tied with Philadelphia Eagles play-by-play announcer Merrill Reese as the most tenured radio broadcasters in the NFL. Patriots Hall of Famer Gino Cappelletti has served as a broadcast analyst for Patriots games for 28 years. He has been affiliated with the Patriots for 41 seasons as a player (1960-70), coach (1979-81) and broadcaster (1972-78; 1988-2008).

Santos and Cappelletti, the subjects of the recently released biography "A View from the Booth: Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti - 25 Years of Broadcasting the New England Patriots," will address attendees in the Raytheon Theater about their long history with the New England Patriots and take questions from the audience. The Hall will display a special exhibit on Santos and Cappelletti from Monday, April 20 to Sunday, April 26 and Santos and Cappelletti will sign copies of "A View from the Booth" at the Patriots ProShop from 2-4 p.m. on Monday, April 20.

Tickets for the Speaker Series event featuring Santos and Cappelletti on April 23 are $25 per person and admission includes a tour of The Hall and an autograph opportunity. Tickets can be purchased online at TheHallatPatriotPlace.com or at the ticket window at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon, located at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Mass.

ADDITIONAL SPEAKERS IN MAY:

The Hall Speaker series continues with Patriots Player Personnel Director Nick Caserio on May 13 at 5:30 p.m. Caserio will discuss the 2009 draft with fans and answer questions about the team. Tickets are $25 per person and admission includes a tour of The Hall and an autograph opportunity. Tickets can be purchased online at TheHallatPatriotPlace.com or at The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon's ticket window, located at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Mass.

On May 15, Needham, Mass. astronaut and Patriots fan Sunita Williams will speak in the Raytheon Theater at the Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon from 6-7 p.m. in a free event with paid admission to The Hall. Williams will discuss her 195 days aboard the International Space Station, why physical fitness is important in both space and in life and her passion for the Patriots.
