HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (July 22, 2006) -- The New York Jets signed fourth-round pick Leon Washington and sixth-round choice Drew Coleman.

Washington, a running back out of Florida State, became the first player in the Bobby Bowden era to score a touchdown five ways (rushing, receiving, punt return, kickoff return and fumble recovery). He finished with 2,041 rushing yards, ranking 10th in school history.

Coleman, a cornerback out of TCU, had 49 tackles and five interceptions in his two-year career with the Horned Frogs after starting at Trinity Valley Community College.
